Coach your aggression and it will benefit your training! Lets be honest, we all turn and look in disbelief and sometimes its comical, when you see someone talking or screaming at their reflection in the mirror. But can you coach your aggression and can it benefit your lifting? Getting angry is a to each his own type of process. You can find a dark place in your psyche and provoke it. This provocation coincides with ramping up your mental intensity lever. The combination turns aggression into applied performance. Mentally focus on something that has irritated you, forced you to act or provoked you. A 1,2 or 3 RM attempt is the perfect opportunity to harvest its yield as mental nourishment. Be mindful, however, to not disregard your coaching cues.
