Coaches, Montana Fast Pitch Softball Players have an amazing opportunity to work HANDS-ON with COLLEGE COACHES from all over the country, in a USA Preps Instructional Camp and Individual Player Showcase. This instructional event runs on June 13th in Great Falls, MT, and is one of the only instructional events in the country where your players will be coached by, learn from, and interact with College Coaches. The USA Preps Camp is a 4 hour event, in which your players get to choose what they want to do at the camp. We have 8 different sessions your players can choose from: Pitching, Catching, Hitting, Middle Infield, Corner Infield, Outfield, Base Running, and Throwing. Your players get to choose UP TO 4 of these one hour sessions. On the day of the camp, your players will be broken up into small groups to work with the College Coaches, and get individual, hands-on instruction from the College Coaches. Before the instruction portion of the camp even starts, we host a Meet & Greet with ALL of the College Coaches who are running, instructing, and coaching this instructional event. This allows your players to meet ALL the College Coaches before instruction starts. After the camp, we have a separate event, our Individual Player Showcase. This is where we separate your players by their graduation year and primary position. It is a more relaxed environment, where your players will be able to show off and showcase their skills as an individual. All of the College Coaches, who were running the camp, will be running this event. The Individual Player Showcase also gives the College Coaches a chance to specifically look for players who might fit their future team needs. We also have an All-Star Game at the end of the day. The All-Star Game is for the players who our College Coaches have nominated, based on their performance in the Camp and/or Showcase. If your players participate in BOTH the Camp and the Showcase, our College Coaches have TWO opportunities to see your players. If your players are chosen to participate, there is no additional fee. The College Coaches will run the warm-ups for the teams before the All-Star Game, as well as fully coach the All-Star teams.
