Coaching affords you many opportunities, but few are as satisfying as teaching the kids how to behave in the face of adversity. True life lessons are earned and learned on the field. We always coach our players to play with class, dignity, honor and integrity. Many times we have to deal with cheating, with bad attitudes, trash talk, and such. We always say that we talk with our pads and we dont lower ourselves to that type of behavior. The kids played extremely well today and exemplified Badger football. The 5th grade played a tough game against an undefeated opponent. They came out on top 28-21 in a game that came down to the last play as we sacked the quarterback to seal the deal. The 6th grade Badgers defeated the timberlake 6th grade 32-6. The game was exciting although it was marred by challenges to the morale of the team. The team met all challenges head on and with the utmost class. The last month and a half these young men and ladies have worked hard to represent bonners ferry badger football and today they have done themselves and their community proud. Great execution, tremendous discipline and awesome action on the gridiron today. Im grateful to be a part of it. Go Badgers!!
