Coalition to complete full term ‘Sonai to take final call on future poll alliance’: Ambika Soni =>Congress leader and in charge of party affairs in Jammu and Kashmir, Ambika Soni Tuesday said that Coalition government will continue in the State while it will be the Congress president Sonia who has to take a final call on the future poll alliance in Jammu and Kashmir. Taking to media in Srinagar before leaving for New Delhi, Ambika Soni said that she had a detailed discussion with Congress leaders in the State and whatever, they suggested and opined would be conveyed to party president Sonia Gandhi. She said that Congress party has no intention to pull out from coalition government. “I think coalition government should continue. Assembly elections are approaching and it is Sonia ji who has to take a final call on the electoral alliance with any party in the state,” she said adding it is her personal opinion that coalition should complete its term. Ambika Soni expressed her disappointment over the party performance in recently held Parliament elections and said that the party could have done better but due to communal polarization, it suffered a setback. She according to CNS said that by tasting defeat, the party has learnt some important lesions and in future, whatever mistakes the party has committed will not be repeated. “We have been discussing how to rectify our mistakes and work in the interest of party,” she said. She said that her party fully supported a massive employment package for Kashmiri youth and this would be part of the Congress election manifesto. She, however, said there was no point in making future promises without fulfilling those already made. She was flanked by former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and State Congress president Saif-u-Din Soz. (CNS)
