Cochran GOP supporters dont care that their GOTV efforts today to lure Dems to vote for him may impact their ability to vote for the Democrat candidate in November. There is a law on the books that if you vote in a primary or runoff, you cant vote for the other guy in the general election. But it is impossible to enforce. While no one can know how you vote behind the screen, Tea Party poll watchers are going to be on the lookout for signs that black voters in November plan to vote Democrat. But - how would they know they voted in the GOP primary or not, or how they are going to vote in private??
