Cody has signed up to participate in Extra Life this year. Its a charity where you sign up for a 24 hour gaming marathon, ask people to pledge a dollar per hour, and the money goes to Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals. It supports amazing life-saving stuff like the video below. Our friend, Jason West, does it every year. Last year, I participated by crocheting a Cthulu ski mask for auction. Given Cody will be here, gaming, for 24 hours, Im thinking of signing up as well. It may sound fun to play games for 24 hours, but I can usually make it for maybe 6hrs before Im sitting under a table poking people with pencils. Its a bit daunting. I hate asking people for money, and so many of you already support awesome charities, it can get hard to dig a little deeper to donate. I would like to create added entertainment value. Im thinking for every $4 that people donate, I will make a video, probably a vine, to let you watch as we devolve into sleep-deprived, Cheeto-dusted madness. So, for every person that pledges $24 dollars, thats six videos. If 4 people pledge $24 dollars, or if 24 people pledge $4, thats a video every hour. If people pledge $192 dollars thats every thirty minutes. Thats a complied 5 minute video of Cody and I slowly going crazy! If I get to $200 in pledges I get a T-shirt and you get a very special video as soon as I wake up, revealing what happens to my hair over night. What do you guys think? Are we in?
