Coffee under my beautiful oaks on this very foggy December morning. The only sounds are those of my pups exploring the yard and a truck shifting gears in the distance somewhere, perhaps Waring. The quietness brings on reflection, which brings on a feeling of contentment. I am exactly WHERE I want to be....and exactly where I should be. My heart is full and my soul is happy. Aside from having to climb a barbed wire fence to chase Scooby the Demon Dachshund on occasion, life at the farmhouse is pretty awesome. There, of course, are things that I want to change/fix....that need to be changed/fixed, but I have accepted that those things will happen, little by little....if I start and keep working on them. In a way, this old farmhouse is a whole lot like me......a work in progress. HAPPY Saturday my friends. Have a blessed day and I hope our paths cross soon!
