Cold Dead Hands would like to acknowledge another barrier broken in American History. Senator Tim Scott has become the first black Senator elected in The South since reconstruction, not by the Democrats, but by the racist Tea Party Republicans. Not that his skin color has anything to do with his election, but to SOME his skin color is all that matters. WE see the issues and the character. How did he do it? Heres just some of his stances on the issues... Second Amendment is cornerstone of our democracy... Voted NO on banning high-capacity magazines of over 10 bullets... Opposes restricting gun purchase & possession... Oppose the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty... Look to Constitution for greatness, not to Executive Orders... Identify constitutionality in every new congressional bill... Audit federal agencies, to reform or eliminate them... Ban stock trading based on Congressional insider knowledge... Kids, not unions, should be focus of our public education... Denounced the Common Core State Standards...
