Cold Weather Gear. Hey Brothers and Sisters. Local 22 in Washington DC has a big event coming up at the beginning of November (like 10 consecutive days of 12+ hour shifts outside). Im looking for tips on what to wear to keep warm, but not too hot, while working in the crisp fall weather. My initial though was to wear some kind of compression shirt as a base layer with a flannel shirt and fleese vest as outer layers (that could be shed if necessary). Then have a pair of Carhartt coveralls in case the temp drops dramatically and of course some rain gear if necessary. What do you all wear in this type of environment?
