Cold… Winter is a beautiful time of year. But very unforgiving. Instead of a mild transition into winter we have been slapped with an immediate attack of cold weather. After a long, tiring day, I was advised that we needed to complete re-installing the heating system for the “dog trailer.” For some odd reason, I accomplished this without mishap. As the trailer warmed, it was brought to my attention that we still had dogs in kennels that had little or no coats. I had been complaining about being tired. I had been complaining about being cold. I had a number of complaints, (I find them easily when winter sets in) but when I thought about the animals that we still had outside, I had no more complaints. We have food, we have shelter. So many, animals and humans alike, live their lives without ever knowing a certainty of either. Sometimes, I just need a little reminder. Taking down some dog crates. Setting up other dog crates. Not all of the dogs will fit into the dog trailer. We are needing another dog trailer. You guessed it, we now have more house guests. To be honest, I am not crazy about having a “full house” but it is much better than knowing they are outside in this weather. With that, we hope everyone in our RezQ Dogs family is staying warm and being safe. Please think about those animals and people in your area and help them if you can. Too often we take for granted those luxuries others would consider an answer to a prayer. Last, but definitely not least, please welcome a few of our new arrivals.
