Cold and Snow Showers ahead Its now feeling like mid November as cold air is filtering in behind the cold front. This is starting to set the stage for a period of cold weather and snow showers around the area. These snow showers are going to be with us for the next several days and be expected more of the nuisance variety for the majority of the area through Thursday afternoon. There is the chance for heavier lake effect showers in the Tug Hill Plateau area with some of this impacting the Oswego - Fulton area. A greater chance of area wide lake effect snow may occur during the Friday timeframe as a troff is expected to move through the area bringing the winds in a more Northwesterly direction. This wind direction is more conducive to lake effect snow in our area.
