Cold and windy outside My Little Window 53°, with winds out of the Northwest at 10 MPH!! Life Flight came in just before dawn and I am offering Prayers for the patient aboard and their family. The storms have passed but the clouds remain for a while am hoping for sunshine later Lol but there is another chance of storms this evening.. Sitting here with a Punkin Spice English Muffin and a hot cup od Java enjoying the view out the window. Chilly in the cabin as we have not insulated it as of yet, Amanda wants to make that a top priority after this morning, I guess we can work the electric around it LOL. It is a bit nippy in here. When I was a kid in Hughson CA, we lived in a drafty old two-story house and it was so old it was not insulated well at all, first to get to my bedroom I had to go outside and up the stairs, and I had no heat in my room other than the heat coming up through the floor from the kitchen below. During the winter it was cold so I stayed bundled up until I crawled into bed, but I survived. And then again when I got out of the Navy and lived with one of my sisters we lived in a drafty house, and I had my bedroom in the laundry where I could turn on the clothes dryer for warmth LOL We are not promised an easy life but we are promised the basics and I have always had those, sometimes the bare basics but God has kept a roof over my head and beans in the pot so I am happy. At times I did not deserve that much. Ya’ll have a great Tuesday and God Bless!!
