Coldplay Salute WWI Veterans in All Your Friends Video With the UK set to celebrate Remembrance Sunday to commemorate those who served in the British and Commonwealth military, Coldplay have released a video for their Ghost Stories bonus track All My Friends based solely on archival footage from World War I. The band does not appear in the video, focusing instead on wartime images both banal and brutal. From soldiers marching in formation to battle scenes to homecoming visits, the group pays tribute to veterans of the war, ending the clip with the message, In memory of all those from all nations who fought in the First World War. The video will appear as part of Ghost Stories Live 2014, a CD/DVD package set for release on November 24th. Focusing solely on Ghost Stories, the live CD culls highlights from shows throughout the bands brief Ghost Stories trek, while the DVD/Blu-ray will feature Coldplays performance at a custom-built amphitheater at Los Angeles Sony Studios. The band previously aired portions of the gig during an NBC music special, but Ghost Stories Live 2014 will present the full performance sequenced in the same order as the album. The Ghost Stories show at Sony Studios was a very special moment for our band, Martin said in a statement. The magic theatre built by our incredible crew with the 360 screens was literally a dream come true. And it was the first time anyone outside of our studio had heard the new songs. This film is basically our original vision for the Ghost Stories album. Coldplay - All Your Friends (Official video) youtu.be/E5a51OonZDE
