Coldwater Rumble 100 Miler yesterday. This was my 1st race for 2015 and my 2nd 100 miler. Finished off at 102.5 miles with 6800 ft total gain. I made changes to my gear and nutrition from lessons learned from my 1st hundo. I drank at least 20oz of electrolyte mix on top of water on each 20 mile loop. With this I never had to take any salt tabs and didnt really have any issues with muscle cramps. Also, wore injinji socks with anti-blister powder that I changed once along with the shoes. I ate at every aid station so didnt really have to carry that much food. I always had a handful of Gin Gin candy which greatly subsided any feelings of nausea. This was a difficult course that tested all of us. Bouts of hallucinations, unclear thoughts, inability to concentrate and one moment that I think I may have fallen asleep while walking. Ultrarunner brains are mush on the last quarter of this race. More lessons learned to take onto my next race. 245.42 YTD
