Colin is home! He spent some quality time talking to his surgeon this morning. We learned a lot more and have some clarifications. It is colon cancer, NOT rectal cancer. The tumor in his colon was about 10cm long and they took out approximately 30cm of colon. The tumor had not gone through the layers of colon and in to the surrounding stuff. She didnt actually biopsy the liver like we thought, she confirmed by feel that there were two tumors, both approximately 2cm. She also said you can cut off most of the liver and still be fine. Were still waiting on the CT of his lungs but she confirmed that the chest x-ray was at least clear. Colin said the lady surgeon showed him how she reached inside him and felt through all his innards to his liver and felt it up. He also confirmed that he does in fact feel like a woman with little fingers was tickling his liver. Well post a picture in a bit, I cant figure out how to make his phone put pictures on here.
