Collection of side waste From Saturday 8 June, Hull City Council will no longer collect extra bags of side waste that is presented next to the black bin. To support residents with the transition we collected extra bags of non-recycle side waste presented next to the black bin between Tuesday 14 May and Friday 7 June. This was a temporary measure to support residents with the change to the new collections dates. The Council will collect recyclable materials presented next to the blue bin. Residents can order free additional blue and brown bins at hullcc.gov.uk or by calling 01482 300 300. Waste can also be taken to one of the three household and waste recycling centres using your pass at: Sutton Fields household waste and recycling centre Amsterdam Road on Sutton Fields Industrial Estate Wiltshire Road household waste and recycling centre Wiltshire Road near Hessle Road flyover Burma Drive household waste and recycling centre Burma Drive towards the Hedon Road end of Marfleet Lane
