College Basketball Comes to Kent City High School November - TopicsExpress

College Basketball Comes to Kent City High School November 2nd Kent City has five former girls’ basketball players playing college basketball this year. Four of them will be back home to play at Kent City with their college teams. Anna Iwaniw and Sydney Wildeboer, 2011 graduates, play for Grace Bible College. 2012 graduate Sonnie Kurnat plays for Muskegon Community College and from the class of 2013 we have Aleah Holcomb who is a freshman at Davenport University. On Saturday, November 2nd, we have another chance to see them play in their home gym. Davenport JV will play Muskegon Community College at 6 pm and following that game at 8 pm we will have Grace Bible College against Davenport JV, who will be playing their second game of the evening. It will be a great opportunity to see the speed and skill of a college basketball game in a high school setting plus welcome back our former players. There will also be several other local players from nearby communities such as Grant, Sparta, Cedar Springs, White Cloud, Rockford, Ravenna and many more. We hope to see you there as we help kick off the start of the 2013 basketball season.
