College Finals Update The Newman Jets (NCAA Div 2) had a tough loss in their conference semi final on Friday US time, going down 59 - 73 to St Marys. The Jets did not play badly, but were up against a hot opposition team who shot 60% over the game. Tessa Ramsay was one of only 4 Jets playing all 26 games for the season, finishing with 13 minutes per game and 1.3 points/2 boards per game. So the Jets bow out for the season and now look forward to taking the next step forward in season 2014/15. The Pacific Tigers (NCAA Div 1) and Em Simons avenged their defeat earlier in the season against Portland, winning their conference quarter final 84 - 72 on Friday. The Tigers progress to a tough semi final match up against Brigham Young on Monday night afternoon US time - well keep you posted.
