College of Law - makes little sense to adopt a university style assessment standard when, never in our practicing lives as lawyers, will we need to sit down - without a laptop or computer or other piece of technology - and provide hand written advice to a client within two hours. If we did, wed justifiably be making ourselves vulnerable to a negligence claim. It makes sense to submit advices as part of our assessment; and to conduct trial hearings, or mock conveyances. But to sit a two hour exam like we have done at university in a course designed to prepare us for life as practicing solicitors makes no sense at all. Zero. Frustrating beyond belief, and another weekend gone wasting time on cram preparing for an exam Ill never retain the knowledge for in the long term. #shouldvedoneANUGDLP
