College of Nursing of International University of Business Agriculture and Technology(IUBAT) celebrates International Nurses Day 2014 on Monday, May 12, 2014 with befitting manner to integrate with global community. The adopted International theme for 2014 : “Nurses: A Force for Change – A vital resource for health”. College of Nursing will arrange a formal program at the Lake Side Arena of the campus at 11.00 AM to be followed by health assessment program at Room # 233. The celebration will be marked by the essence of the adopted theme of the present year. Her Excellency Ms. Heather Cruden, Canadian High Commissioner has kindly consented to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. Presided by Prof.Dr M Alimullah Miyan, Vice Chancellor and Founder of IUBAT, Dr. Karen Lund, Canadian health academics and Senior Advisor of the College of Nursing will offer address of welcome. Speakers on the occasion will be focusing the necessity of educated nurses to ensure better healthcare management in the best interest of public health in the country. Chairs, Directors, Coordinators, Faculty members, students and invited healthcare professionals will attend the program coordinated by Dr. ASA Masud, Coordinator, IUBAT College of Nursing.
