College tuition, especially public college tuition, has been raised too much, too fast and college officers, executives and administrators have gotten too much of that money. However, this immature whine, unfortunately, reflects the eternal fact that there will always be things out of virtually everyones reach. The mature student will always have a plan B, C and D because, more than not, if you couldnt afford it in the first place, whining about it like it is someone elses fault and that youve always been entitled to the best isnt going to change things. You can get a perfectly fine education at a B or C tier school. Better work harder for better grades instead of whining because that part IS in a students control. The rest of us are working on the public policy and structural inequality that creates this kind of mess.
