They have hosted three supernova explosions in the past 15 years and have produced a huge number of super bright X-ray lights (ULX). The scientists now tally a total of 28 ULXs between NGC 2207 and IC 2163. Stars are forming in this galaxy pair at a rate of 24 stars the mass of our sun per year.
