Colombia MEWP accident at Puerto Bahia oil terminal A MEWP(mobile elevating work platform) in which 2 workers of Latco Solutions were painting an oil storage tank at the Puerto Bahia Terminal on Cartagena Bay became unstable and toppled over, one of the workers died from his injuries the other has been hospitalised. 16th May 2014 Canada Worker critically injured in 4m fall A construction worker in his 40s was admitted to St Michaels Hospital in Toronto with critical injuries after falling 4 metres at a site on Burnhamthorpe Road in Mississauga. 16th May 2014 Canada Fall fatality on Quebec site A Quebec worker in his 50s died in an accident on Wednesday at a site on Principale Est Street in Saint Etienne de Lauzon in Levis. He fell from a platform but initial investigation of the accident by local police suggests that the fall may have been precipitated by a health issue. 15th May 2014
