It can be at once comforting and suddenly cold, it can lure you in, spark a memory, warn you to stay away, grab your attention, motivate your spirit, ease your pain, help you feel. This song is about celebrating your unique self! In a world where people can be quick to judge and analyze, it can be difficult to overcome the fear and express our unique truth, our unique colors. This song is about standing up for yourself, celebrating who you are, and owning it! I laughed a lot while writing and recording this song because the sentiment of show your colors is so simple, yet something I struggle with every day of my life!
