Colorado State University’s Animal Sciences Building underwent a top-to-bottom renovation over the past year -- another in a long series of CSU projects completed by GH Phipps. The school unveiled the upgraded and updated facility during a Sept. 17 ribbon-cutting, when officials, donors (including noted animal scientist and CSU professor Temple Grandin), students, members of the Phipps team, and representatives of Bennett Wagner Grody Architects gathered to tour the “new” building. The $11 million project was completed in several phases as funding became available, and now includes several more targeted animal research labs, new conference rooms, offices and classrooms to support the department’s research and education. During the event, CSU project manager Milt Brown, and GH Phipps project manager Brian Cass and project engineer Scott Metz toured the interior. For a few words by Dr. Kevin Pond, Head of the Animal Sciences Department, and a quick tour of the building, check out https://youtube/watch?v=ywkDr41DR-0
