Colorful Ceremony Of 2014 Igbaru Ji Ngwa Land. It was a gathering of the high and mighty recently as the Traditional Ruler of Ngwaukwu in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area of Abia State; Eze Bernard Enweremadu performed the 2014 Igbaru Ji of Ngwa land. In the colorful Ceremony which attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, Eze Enweremadu charged Communities in Igbo not to allow Politicians desecrate their New Yam Festivals in their Communities, pointing out that the New Yam Festival is a peaceful and Cultural event banqueted to succeeding Igbo generation by the forefathers to promote Agriculture, stressing that it is not a Political event. He urged Ndi Igbo not to toy with Agriculture in order to produce food for the populace and also to support the Agricultural Transformation Agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan. The Royal Father pleaded with Government at all levels to initiate program that would give the people a new lease of life, and decried the level of poverty and hunger pervading the Nigerian society. He reminded those in authority that God was not happy seeing them flaunting Wealth about while the people wallowed in abject poverty, and urged the Media to remain focused and highlight issues that would promote good Governance and promote well being of the people.
