Colossians 2:6-7 (KJV) As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him; Rooted & built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ............If we are not rooted & grounded in Jesus, our fruit will be of everything but HIM. If we are rooted in the TRUTH which is JESUS, we are abounding in thanksgiving & ALL our THANKS will be about HIM & not about what we are doing. If all someone is saying is, Look what I done, I done this & I done that, then you are being spoiled after the philosophy of man their own vain deceit. Flesh seeks glory of itself. We must always remember that it is not about ourselves but ALL about HIM. If you see any good in me, it is because of HIM. It is nothing I do, but what HE does in me. Be rooted and grounded in the TRUTH - refuse to be moved. Do NOT compromise when it comes to the things of GOD. All you need to know, you will find in his TRUE WRITTEN WORD. You do not have to seek someone out to tell you something God told them to tell you but you can go to HIM in prayer for yourself & HE will give you the answers you need in HIS WORD. That is being rooted & grounded in the TRUTH. Flesh will seek out others, the spirit man will seek out JESUS......Lovin Jesus & Lovin Life
