Colours in the cold! Maybe at times our angling gets a little too caught up in the “size matters” scenario and we find ourselves falling to believe that big is beautiful. Granted we all cherish that moment when a lump rolls over the net cord but there is certainly more to it than chasing the big girls and from time to time we need to remind ourselves the smaller ones are to be treasured too! Now these two lads have had more than their fair share of big fish this season, yet they will both openly admit that there is still an immense buzz around netting a stunner and not all captures need be record breakers. Well what better way to illustrate what we’re getting at here than with these two corkers, ok they’re only low 20’s but these two pictures really do paint a thousand words. The fish are what we could only describe as perfect examples of carp, proportional, scale perfect and colourful. Take a closer look at the mirror though and notice the carbon like patterning on its scales....... well let the images do the talking!! #TheFormula
