Columbia Forest Products, a progressive hardwood plywood company located in Craigsville, WV is accepting applications for a Procurement Forester. Individual is responsible for locating standing poplar and negotiating purchase contracts with the landowner. Individual is also responsible for purchasing Poplar from independent loggers, concentration yards, and saw mills. Education: · Prefer a 4-year degree in Forestry or related degree. Or, equivalent experience. · Prefer 3 years experience as a Procurement Forester. Qualifications: · GPS experience is a plus but not required. · Must have sufficient skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access. · Strong communication and negotiation skills. · Self-starter that is highly motivated, and capable of working independently without supervision. ·Good driving record.
