Columbus Man, please do not use my name for I am forced to continue to use their services. And hi CM.... hugs I recently visited Volunteers in Medicine. I feel totally disrespected by the treatment I received. From the doctor to the nurse. Big Red, I assume shes a nurse, but hoping she is not. She lacks compassion and professionalism. I have never been treated in such a degrading manner. Crying in pain, I was labeled a pain med seeker pretty much. I was hurt by my treatment and diagnosed with another health problem. I was emotional and just needed a pat or a hug really! FYI, I wasnt crying because I didnt get a script of pain dope. However, I needed them. The topper was upon exiting the VIM, I had to meet Big Red for meds. Obviously the doctor had told her I was crying for pain meds. She was hateful and unprofessional. I allowed her to ROLL HER EYES AT ME 3 TIMES. Believe me. I was nice compared to what I wanted to say to you. DISRESPECTFUL! Upon exiting, still crying, now hurting from condition and the way I was treated, I heard BIG RED say something including my name, sarcastically before I got to the door. I turned around sand said ...you couldnt wait till I left to talk about me? OF COURSE DENIED. But I Speak THE TRUTH! I had much respect for this service before this happened and they have helped me tremendously. However.... BIG RED should not be a nurse. She lacks empathy, compassion, and professionalism. Her people skills were sadly disappointing. She should be terminated for her unethical actions. She would be a great trashman! I realize I will be treated differently now. I want you to know I am a patient there for reasons beyond my control. BIG RED SHOULD BE FIRED .. not only for rolling her eyes at me 3x but for her sarcastic tone & talking negatively about me so I could hear her. I hope that someday you get the same treatment you provided to me. I hope you meet you in your hardest days. It was UGLY! VIM, I thank you for your med assist. But because we are patients with little to no income, you have no right to treat us like trash! Remember that!
