Columbus did a lot more than just Discover the Americas ...He opened the door to massive exploration of the Globe ...and the beginning of the Age of Discovery...when we celebrate Columbus day we celebrate the beginning of an Age, that because of him , we are here ! ...people like him too..Verrazano founder of New York and North American Exploration, Caboto , (father and son.). also North American explorers that sailed for England thus giving us the 13 colonies ,and Tonti founder of the source of the Mississippi River, Malespina explorer and map maker who mapped the American West Coast from California to Alaska and Americo Vespucci map maker and explorer who found and explored the Eastern US and South American coastal mainlland .who gave us the name America !...to ELIMINATE. this Holiday is to spit at all Explorers...People of Honor that braved the unknown and furthered Humanity ! , ...and further more all of these men were Italian ..It is to spit on all of us Italian Americans !
