Comcast had me offline for 24 hours. No landline either... but at least we had TV. Called customer service twice, (first to report & second for an update) and it was actually a pleasant experience both times. Got thru to an agent quickly, who was able to give me an updated repair time, and actually told me the reason for the outage. Cables were being replaced in my area. Their service restoration estimates were off by a bit... but at least talking to them, and getting a reason, left me satisfied.
