Come and Join in Tangkhul Non-Serampore Theological Forum. The distinction between Serampore and Non-Serampore is not the psychological problem, It is the doctrinal problem. If your Bible College is Serampore Affiliated College, you need to withdraw your affiliation. If you can not withdraw your affiliation, you need to leave the college. Please read this before you screw down. WHY SHOULD WE OPPOSE HERESY IN TANGKHUL CHURCHES? The word Heresy in scripture is the Greek word [hairesis], from the root [haireomai], which literally means a choosing, and by extension, a choice of one side over another, hence faction, party or sect. Heresy is, a matter of choice. In the biblical Christian application Heresy refers to any doctrine held by any person who runs away from the Bible or who does not believe the sole authority of the Bible. It is hard to recognize heresy in worldly approach because knowledge has no limit; it changes from one to another, yesterday to today and today to tomorrow. It is hard to judge who is right and who is wrong? But, in Christian believes, heresy defines as the one who believes or teaches contrary to the Bible? Is Serampore or Non-Serampore Theologian Heresy? The choice is up to you. 1.Why there are theologians in Tangkhul who do not believe in BORN AGAIN where the Bible repeatedly says, “Ye must be born again.” 2.Why there are theologians in Tangkhul who do not believe in RAPTURE where the Bible says, “you will be caught up in the air to meet the Lord” 3.Why there are theologians in Tangkhul who believe in Ecumenical God by rejecting Jesus Christ the only God and the Savior where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man come unto the Father but by me.” Why they teach that every prayer is acceptable to God even if you dont mention the name of Jesus. 4.Why there are theologians in Tangkhul who believe that the Bible is not the only source of Christian theology. 5.Why there are theologians in Tangkhul who give more preference to our culture and tradition in theology making. Why don’t they make theology in biblical context? There are many more we can talk about on and on. My question is, why you want to be among them for the sake of unity. We believe unity should be based on BIBLICAL DOCTRINE, not in BUILDING CROWD. 2Co 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. Why many laymen are misleading. Who is responsible? 1st Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Why do we need this Tangkhul Non-Serampore Theological Forum? We need this forum to protect the Bible from apostasy. The Scriptures are sufficient means that the Bible is all we need to equip us for a life of faith and service. It provides a clear demonstration of God’s intention to restore the broken relationship between Himself and humanity through His son Jesus Christ, our Savior through the gift of faith, revealing their election and salvation as a result of His death and resurrection on the cross. We need to stand up for the faith that all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:15-17). The sufficiency of Scripture is under attack today and sadly, that attack comes far too often in our own churches. Management techniques, worldly methods of drawing crowds, entertainment, extra-biblical revelations, mysticism, and some forms of psychological counseling all declare that the Bible and its precepts are not adequate for the Christian life. But Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me” (John 10:27). His voice is all we need to hear and the Scriptures are His voice, completely and utterly sufficient.
