Come and listen to a story bout a man named Jed! Well, that was his story, here is mine. I got married when I was just 17, I did not have to, but in the early 70s we just did.. I was married to Mama Katts Kitchen, husbands brother. So, for years we were not only friends, but sister in laws. I say she kept her brother, I did not.. Then I married Mr Shabby, and here were are 31 years later. Well, I say this all because tonight as I drove my 5, and 6 year old grandchildren home, they started with the 100 questions. My granddaughter is 6 and she said Nana, who is your Mother? It was Gigi, right? I said yes, that is correct.. Then my granddaughter says to me , Nana are you daddys Mother? I said yes I am, then all of a sudden my grandson says and Papa Steve is your daddy too right Nana? LoL I giggled and said no honey, Papa Steve is your daddys, dad. He said oh yes know that, but he is your daddy too right? I said no again, not sure how to explain it to a 5 year old.. All of a sudden my granddaughter tells her brother in a voice like are you youre kidding right She says, no Papa Steve is not her daddy, he is her brother, and granddaddy (Mr Shabby) told him it was time to get a job and move, so he did, that is why he doesnt live in their house, right Nana? I laughed out loud for sure.. Thinking how thankful I was that I only had two husbands at this point, I mean really!!! Kids say the darnedest things sometimes, and at the oddest times too.. Now to me it all seems so simple me, but to little children, not so much.. ~Debbie~
