Come on back Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. (Revelation 2:4 NKJV) Our First love is Jesus Christ Whether you slowly drift away from closeness with Him or make the conscious choice to be consumed with other things, the result is the same—a feeling of distance from the Lord and a hollowness to your days. Rest assured, however, that God has not pulled away from you. He longs for fellowship with you; He sent His Son to die for that purpose. If you feel you have lost your first love, or are somewhere in that process, do not be discouraged. Satan would love nothing more than for depression and thoughts of defeat to drive you away from the Lord. Dont believe the lies that satan is speaking to you. God wants to talk to you right now, come on back to Him! “I’m coming back to the Cross, Lord. Renew my first love as I have a divine encounter with the power of the Cross.”
