Come to KNOW HIM BY accepting a cup of living water from his hand. In Jesuss conversation with the woman on the well , the Lord talking about water told her If any one drinks from the water I give will never be thirsty again. This water that I give will spring up within you to ETERNAL LIFE. but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life. John 4:14 So, the water that the Lord gives us will turn inside us into wells springing up to ETERNAL LIFE. Which bring us to ask, What is ETERNAL LIFE? Here is the answer : This is ETERNAL LIFE : to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. John 17:3 So, in another words, the Lord wanted to give that woman on the well THE ONE SOLUTION for all of her troubles and that solution was HIM and Faith in HIM and He knew that if that woman will drink the water that ONLY the LORD JESUS can give ( Faith in HIM) that will give the woman springs of living water to eternal life (The knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ). To make it even clearer .. Read these verses from John 7 Living Water 37Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.…John 7 Knowing Christ is Above All …9and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
