Come to the Amos Room in the Guild at 1pm tomorrow to see the launch of Engineers Without Borders - Birmingham Branchs Cameroon Catalyst project! Cameroon Catalyst are an organisation set up in Southampton University and provide international aid through engineering. We are looking to set up a Birmingham Branch of the Cameroon Catalyst project and in the near few years adopt our own Cameroonian village to which we hope to provide engineering solutions on a yearly basis. This year we are being given a mock-brief by Cameroon Catalyst to run as a year long project that could, but wont, be implemented at the end of the year. After this pilot project is completed, who knows what the Birmingham Branch could achieve in the real world! So if you need a huge CV boost, fancy a challenge or if our weekly meetings just arent cutting it, get involved! Were having a talk from Claire Gott who runs the Southampton Branch who will be there to launch the project and provide a little more information. Well also be kicking the project off on Monday at 5pm in G26 as per usual followed by a trip to the pub! GET INVOLVED!!!
