My Stupid Brother is a vocal-heavy alternative rock band, with tight and driving rhythms, and melodic vocal harmonies. Their sound spans generations of melody driven music drawing from classic influences like The Beatles, The Kinks, Green Day, Weezer and The Strokes, while pushing the alternative rock envelope in the same vein as The Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, Surfer Blood and other up-and comers. Guitarist, singer, songwriter Ray Dafrico has been playing original music professionally since April of 1981. He has toured, opened for or performed with artist such as The Clash, The Ramones, The Replacements, REM, Bo Diddley.
