Thur / Fri 15th & 16th of January 8pm An evening of Tears, Cheers and Laughter Theatre €15 / €12 Carlow Little Theatre kick-start our theatre year with 3 one act plays. Interviews with Loneliness is a though-provoking look at the lives of 3 different women, each searching for the beauty and essence that lies within. Pete and Joe at the Dew Drop Inn is a funny and incisive look at life through the eyes of 2 drinkers who regularly meet at the bar and discuss what hits their fancy on any given day. Costa Del Packet is a very funny lool at package holidays as four women arrive at Del Sol and find themselves stranded in a workman’s hut on the site of their hotel! Sun 18th of January 3pm Hansel & Gretel & Bosco Family €11.00 The Lambert Puppet Theatre is nationally and internationally renowned for its work throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe. They have created some of Ireland’s most loved puppet characters, including Wanderly Wagon’s Judge, and of course, Bosco, who will make a guest appearance at the start of this show. This is a beautiful production with large puppets, colourful sets and exquisite lighting, suitable for an age group up to ten years. Sun 25th of January 3pm Family Art Workshop Family €5.00 We welcome parents and grandparents to join in with their children and grandchildren and get creative. Facilitated by artists, these fun afternoons are guaranteed to add the sparkle of imagination to any Sunday. Our workshops have been inspired by the seasons gallery programme. Suitable for children of 5 to 12 years. Please note that this is a family workshop and parents/guardians must remain with their children throughout. Sat 31st of January 8pm PJ Gallager Comedy €19 / €17 Naked Camera’s PJ Gallagher makes his highly anticipated debut at VISUAL, Carlow with a brand new show. PJ has played sold out shows throughout Ireland and at the biggest and best comedy festivals that the country has to offer. He also recently guest-presented Radio Nova’s Morning Glory show, before racing off on the Route 66 Motorbike Challenge in aid of Temple Street Hospital.
