Coming back to a post which was cleverly hijacked by some people: Why is it that Congress gets away for all the riots committed under its watch? Why is hardly there any media focus on them? We remember 1984 because they happened in Delhi. What about Nellie? What about Bhagalpur? What about 1969 Ahmedabad? Last year a prominent TV journalist tweeted they couldnt cover Assam riots because of tyranny of distance. Obfuscation by meduia? Possible reasons? (Remember we are discussing (a) Congress (b) role of media (c) obfuscation. Do not try to shed crocodile tears of condemnation or bring in other parallels. This post is not about riots comparing, but hypocrisy of Congress and helpful media)
