Coming down to the wire for the big move. So much to do and sooo many details. Terribly frustrated by having to waste hours making repeated calls because employees are incompetent, pay no attention to detail and screw everything up. How many times must I spell my last name in order for it to be input correctly? Im now at six and its STILL wrong. Ordered television service days ago - STILL havent received confirmation email with necessary info, despite repeated calls. First time, they input email address incorrectly. Second and third times, they swore they input correctly, but STILL no email. So, must waste more time today. Trying to figure out how to address a reduction in storage space - such as the lack of a large pantry. Need bookshelves desperately, but cant afford new, solid wood ones - nor even grossly overpriced & ugly MDF ones - but, my car is small and cant take advantage of bargains on craigslist, as have no way to cart things home. Tomorrow, moving fragile and important things I dont want lost in the shuffle or broken, such as my good china, large framed mirrors, pottery, glassware, etc. Wish I had time to line all the shelves and plant my peony and iris bulbs (so I dont let planting season get past me) but, those tasks will have to wait. Its going to take weeks to turn the new house into a home, but well get there (if the move doesnt kill me.)
