Coming from a source usually favorable to the Obama admin, this is a very damning account of how bad the President and his administration has treated the field and region commanders who are on the front line. The administration seems to look at the issues in a kind of idealistic, or dreamworld level of what about this alternative or we have yet to try this course.... where the actors on the front are asking for means to accomplish their goals the best of their abilities. What this story shows is the utter incompetence of Obama (BO) as President and administration that cant get its act together. What does this do to the morale of the military scares me. I think BO has done more damage to the military than the Clintons ever did (and they did a lot of damage). I hear lots of nasty talk from officers who simply retired cause they couldnt take anymore the nonsense of this administration and its cronies running DoD and national security apparatus of the USA. The resentment levels seem to be as high as it was following Vietnam. Scary...
