Coming from the text in Titus 3:1-2 concerning those who are under authority and rulers, this passage right here to me is talking to us as we go to our jobs and those who they work for doing business running your own business these words are what Paul uses to describe someone who is under rule. We are all subject to authority in some shape, form or fashion what Titus helps us to see about authority is that we serve, not just our bosses, but we serve the public and the public are the people some people who we see everyday and others we meet through doing business with, and with others who are our next door neighbors; Paul warns us of those behaviors in v3. when he makes mention of these character straits: these are the schemes that the devil uses against us and so he also warns us in Romans 6:1-3 where he tells us of our position that we have in Christ and that we have been chosen from out of the world in with a relationship with him Titus 2:1-2 tells us that if we hold onto sound doctrine that we will be blessed v2. talks about the fruits of the spirit that is recorded in Matthew 5:10-13 which are the fruits of the spirit.
