Coming out is still important. It may seem that it wouldnt be, in this age where Marriage Equality is now legal in a majority of states, more each week. But the underlying principles of coming out should be celebrated and valued by all of us. Be true to yourself. Be honest with the world. Be proud of who you are. Have the courage to be the most authentic you that you can be. There are still places where it isnt safe to be open about who you are. We have marriage equality in the majority of states, but in a majority of states you can still be fired for being gay. There is still work to do.
