Coming out of Facebook hiding to share this gem: Quicken Loans is my mortgage lender... they bought my mortgage from some other mortgage company a few years ago. Ive been happy with them, with one exception: Theyre super-nudgy with the marketing, constantly calling, email marketing, snail-mail marketing; they even mailed a thing to my house that plays a video when you open it. I called them and asked to be removed from all that, and they were friendly on the phone and said they would. Ive never missed or have even late on a mortgage payment, so as far as Im concerned, I have no reason to talk to them ever. I pay, they let me live in my house, all is happy. But today, out of nowhere, one of their creepy telemarketing arseholes CALLS MY MOTHER IN ANOTHER STATE to say, Hey, have Jill call us for some great blah blah! WHAT THE EVERLOVING FRIG IS THAT? First off, why/how do they have my moms phone number? She has nothing to do with my mortgage other than teaching me the life skills to pay it on time. Really QuickenLoans? Thats it. Were done. I will gladly take my mortgage elsewhere and pay thrice the interest rate to get away from your creepy, creepy, major-uncool crap. (with JoAnn Knapp.)
