Coming soon to the gallery: the stunning work of Keith Varney. We are very much looking forward to showing Keiths work in the gallery for the first time, as part of our winter show A Christmas Cabinet of Curiosities (29 Nov 2014 - 10 Jan 2015), so we couldnt resist sharing this photo shoot of his work with photographer Sylvain Deleu for an upcoming article in Ceramic Review next year. Keith Varneys contemporary ceramic sculpture and vessels interact with light and shade. The hand built geometric forms are created from paper-thin porcelain sheets which are scored, folded and joined along curved lines, creating gently curved and tensioned surfaces. Keiths work is due to arrive with us early next week.
