Coming to America: Electric B-Class with 85-Mile Range In a surprising move, Mercedes-Benz has just announced that it will bring its B-Class Electric Drive crossover to the US, even launching it here ahead of Europe. Starting at $42,375 before various possible tax credit reductions, the B-Class will offer an electric range of up to 85-miles. With a 2-hour charge on standard 240-volt sockets, Mercedes says the front-wheel drive crossover can provide a 60-mile range and accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 7.9 seconds.
