Coming up on Northern Michigans News Leader 9&10 News at 5:00: Its been a rough day across Northern Michigan. From rain and freezing rain to snow, the weather is causing trouble for travel and power lines. Winter storm warnings are in effect for several counties. Chief Meteorologist Tom OHare has the details at the top of the hour. There arent many places for melting snow and rain water to go with snow still on the ground. Water is staying on the road. Crews are watching out for localized flooding. Hear from the Wexford County Road Commission about what they are doing to prepare. The preliminary exam of Sean Phillips continued today in Ludington. Phillips is accused of murdering his 4-month-old known as Baby Kate in Mason County. Breelynn Martin was in court all day to get the latest on the hearing. She will be LIVE from Ludington tonight.
