Commander Fighter Poka wrote: We resolve since our establishment to radical transform parliaments, so that they should reflect the living condition of an ordinary person, not to get assimilated into the elite practices of parliament, living above the means of the people. We boldly said in many platforms to the positive cheers and ululating of the fighters in attendance and absent that we are not going to parliament to live like kings and queens and we further pronounced during Tshela Thupa rally to the whole world why should MPs who are paid salary be receipeints of free housing, whilst they can afford to pay their own accommodation this was music in our ears. Today hardly a month in parliament our EFF leaders reneged on that progressive undertaking and are now manufacturing stupid excuses, which cast aspersion on their honesty. We criss- crossed the country mobilizing our unsuspecting people to believe us us that we are different from those who used parliament to live like executives. REMEMBER WE ARE NOT IN PARLIAMENT TO SERVE OUR SELVES BUT THE PEOPLE, SO DECLINING PERKS WILL BE A STATEMENT TO AFFIRM THAT WE ARE INDEED NOT DIFFERENT FROM THE PEOPLE. NB: Before assuming parliament all EFF deployee and majority where using public facility are they death, why will they die if they continue using these facilities. Who should die ordinary people who voted us into parliament, hell no, we are not different from our people. If EFF wants to be taken serious we must mind our steps moving into the future, because our people are going to assess our honesty on how we conduct our lifestyles during our presence in parliament. Interestingly THE IMPRESSION CREATED IS THAT PEOPLE WHO USES PUBLIC FACILITIES DIES OR FAIL TO MAKE IT IN LIVE AND ITS A SAD LIE, BECAUSE ALL OF US WE ARE PRODUCTS OF THOSE FACILITIES AND SOME WE ARE IN PARLIAMENT We must not tells obvious lies to protect our lust for elite lifestyle and enjoying state resources more than the ordinary people. WHAT WILL BE THE IMPACT OF EFF PARLIAMENTARIANS DECLINING ALL PERKS OF PARLIAMENT? It will demonstrate even to the skeptics that EFF is not a organisation of opportunist who uses our people votes to access life different from what they live. 2). It will open a dialogue on the proper definition of the character of a public representative and his conduct towards solidify with the public. 3). It will with doubt cast aspersion on those who live life beyond the means of the ordinary people and it will reaffirm EFF as the true vanguard of the working class. 4) It will gives us first hand information to use parliament as a tribune to raise the plight of our ordinary people suffering under poor public service from a first person experience not from an elite position. It will win EFF many credibility points. 5). It will differentiate EFF from the rest as a reliable movement of the ordinary people led by ordinary people, not members of the Animal Farm. 6). It will create an extended platform of legitimacy for EFF moving into the future as a radical movement which declined a ride in a post 1994 gravy train, and instead choose the ordinary train used by the ordinary people. 7). Importantly it will assist us to grow in credibility and many parties will be measured on our own conduct moving into the future. 8). It will redraw the contours of parliament and will era us many local and international revolutionary kudus. The critical answer is: NO ONE WILL DIE FOR DECLINING PARLIAMENTARY PERKS, INSTEAD WE WILL GROW IN OUR RELEVANCE AMONGST THE PEOPLE. We where not born in parliament, we are products of the struggle against forgetting who we are. We are torch bearers of a better life during economic freedom in our people lives. We are not in parliament because its a profession, its a revolutionary call that should be punctuated by progressive volunteerism. We didnt apply to be in parliament because of our academic credentials, we are representatives of the ordinary working class, we cant abuse or misuse their votes to life different from them, we must share in their daily suffering not only through statement, by also by eating and living amongst them. No one attended an interview to be in parliament.
