Commander, Navy Region, Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA) is responsible for controlling uniforms and the appearance of Navy personnel ashore within the states of Connecticut; Delaware; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; North Carolina; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Vermont; Virginia (less the Northen Virginia area assigned to Commandant, Naval District Washington, DC); and West Virginia. As regional coordinator, CNRMA is responsible for issuing and controlling uniform policy and appearance of Navy personnel within the Mid-Atlantic region and for prescribing uniforms for the season, day or special occasion, which provides for the greatest uniformity of appearance.
